The Electricity at Work Regulations simply requires employers, businesses, managers and employees to keep all electrical equipment maintained and safe at all times.

Our Service.

Each item of equipment will be visually checked for damage and obvious faults followed by a full test to prove the equipments electrical integrity.

You will be supplied with the Certificates and Reports of all the equipment tested.

We can even keep a register for you and let you know when your equipment needs its next inspection and testing.

Testing can be performed out of hours to keep the inconvenience at a minimum and allow you to continue your business at no extra cost.

What Equipment needs testing?

A portable appliance is classed as any piece of equipment which can be connected to the electricity supply by means of a plug.

How often should your equipment be tested?

A visual inspection should be carried out by the user everytime the equipment is used. As a guide you should have all portable appliances tested every 12 months.

Free Repairs.

Minor faults found during testing will be repaired and the equipment retested free of charge.

Minor repairs include:-

Replacement of damaged mains plugs. (BS1363)

Replacement of incorrect or damaged fuses.

Rewire or correct fitting of mains plugs.

Retest of the equipment.

Any further damage and cost will be discussed with you to obtain the best result.
